EffectiveT3 is available as stand-alone application for download or WebStart. The software is purely written in the JAVA programming language and therefore platform independent. We tested the software on Windows, Mac and Linux systems. The stand-alone software comes with a convenient graphical user interface but can also be used in a command line mode for batch processing in own analysis-pipelines. Please report bugs and suggestions via our contact page.

EffectiveT3 is open-source software under the GPL license. The source code is available on request.

Update cycle:
EffectiveT3 is updated twice a year. In this process, proven effector sequences submitted by the community and new effectors described in the literature are added for the training of the classification modules.
